Their Idea


THE ECOMICZ TEAM CAME TO US WITH THE IDEA OF CREATING A COMIC BOOK PUBLISHING PLATFORM AND COMMUNITY FOR COMIC BOOK CREATORS AND FANS.


"For several years, we tried so many different things to get a comic book community created online that would help creators and was driven by fans.  We acquired ecomicz.com, borrowed seed money and tried to build the website ourselves using several different Content Management Systems such as WordPress, Joomla, Yii, Drupal, Sharepoint along with other open source platforms requiring lots of widgets.  

No matter what we did the site remained slow and all those features created bugs with other features that just left us crying.This project had evolved from one year to the next and had grown super complex due to the social features, flip reader, publishing, and many other features needed to create a great comic book networking community experience. We devoted thousands of hours to this project, but to no avail. The more we put the pedal to the metal, the more it felt like we were just spinning our wheels in the mud. The industry has so many unfulfilled promises, we did not want to become another in that sea of despair.

Matt and I finally admitted we were unable to build anything close to what we had envisioned for the industry on our own.  Things were bleak, but not lost, it turns out."

Our Software


CORPORATE BRANDING AND WEBSITE.
We created an original brand with logo and complete corporate website with multi-feature blog to generate leads. 

PRE SIGNUP LANDING PAGE
We designed and installed a landing page to start collecting leads while the website and software was under development.

CRM WITH EMAIL MARKETING
A full CRM, which comes with all our software, was available to manage leads automatically collected from landing pages and early website forms, as well as manually entered by the team. A built-in email marketing platform allows marketing automation such as autresponders, and other email communication with tracking.

BLOCKCHAIN PUBLICATION

We built a comprehensive publishing platform that allows users to upload and publish comic books and comic art to the blockchain. Each uploaded issues or artwork becomes a certified digital asset incapable of being copied, and that will be tracked throughout sales and resales on the platform.

FLIPBOOK READER
We built a flipbook reader that makes reading purchased comic books as close as digitally possible to reading a physical copy of the book.






SOCIAL COMMUNITY
Users will have access to a community that includes all the features in a social network, such as profiles, ability to follow other members, participate in forums, and more.

MARKETPLACE
The Marketplace is where comic books and art book issues will be available for purchase. Users can buy original copies, or buy and sell pre-owned issues. Each sale is tracked and the original created gets royalties from the resell. Members can also leave reviews and interact with community members who have purchased or created the books.
